Terms & Conditions
The short version: we keep it readable. No walls of legal jargon, no surprises buried in the fine print.
Agreement to These Terms
By booking Offeractionlane for coffee cart hire, celebration cakes, dessert tables or any related service, you agree to the terms set out on this page. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Offeractionlane, operating out of Perth, Western Australia.
If anything here is unclear before you confirm a booking, ask us first. We would rather answer a question now than argue about it later.
Bookings and Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once we have received your deposit and sent you a written confirmation by email. Verbally agreed dates, text messages or casual conversations do not constitute a confirmed booking.
- Deposits are fifty percent for coffee cart events
- Deposits are thirty percent for cake and dessert table orders
- Final guest numbers are due ten days before the event
- Any changes to the confirmed menu or design must be approved in writing
Payment Terms
Balance payments are due within seven days of the event or delivery date. We accept bank transfer, major credit cards and cash on delivery for cake pickups only. Late payments may attract a small administration fee.
All prices shown on our website are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Travel outside the Perth metropolitan area may add a delivery charge that is always quoted before you commit.
Cancellations and Changes
Cancellations made more than ten days before the event receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations inside that window forfeit the deposit, as that date was held exclusively for you and cannot easily be refilled.
If we have already begun baking, purchasing specialty ingredients or rostering staff, those costs may be deducted from any refund even when the cancellation is early. We will always explain the deduction item by item.
Our Responsibilities
We promise to arrive with the equipment and skill required to deliver the service we quoted. If something on our side goes wrong, we will fix it, replace it or refund the affected portion of your payment.
We carry public liability insurance to ten million dollars. A certificate of currency is available on request for venues that require it.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate venue details, safe access to power and water, and a clear, level area for setup. Please tell us in advance about allergies, load-in restrictions or any venue rules that might affect the service.
Any damage caused by guests to our equipment or staff property may be charged at the cost of repair or replacement.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly will be handled by the courts of that state.
